Profile

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a growing engineering team at a well-established manufacturing business in Bridgwater. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to take ownership of quality assurance and continuous improvement activities, with clear progression toward quality management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes in line with ISO 9001 : 2015
• Conduct inspections, audits, and reporting across the production lifecycle
• Develop and manage test protocols and quality documentation
• Investigate non-conformances, analyse data, and drive corrective actions
• Work cross-functionally to deliver continuous improvement projects
• Manage and support supplier quality activities and external evaluations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including manuals and SOPs
• Support occasional UK and international travel to subcontractor or supplier sites
