Overview
Remote Account Manager (RAM) to support and drive business development within the FRBNL region. This role will aid the field sales team with lead qualification and generation, account management, vacant territory support, and other sales tasks. Flexible, home-based role based in the UK or Germany, with remote collaboration with the Europe sales team.
Responsibilities
- Sales Prospecting : Proactively identify new business opportunities and generate leads through virtual outreach, cold calling, and networking.
- Lead Qualification : Qualify new leads to build a strong pipeline and prepare clients for more in-depth sales engagement.
- Account Management : Maintain and grow business within designated accounts, ensuring client needs are met and identifying opportunities to expand Takara Bio's footprint.
- Vacant Territory Support : Support areas without dedicated Territory Managers, ensuring consistent customer communication and responsiveness.
- CRM Management : Record all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM within 24 hours to maintain accurate data and support forecasting.
- Customer Relationship Development : Build long-lasting client relationships through consistent communication and a personalized approach.
- Market and Competitive Insights : Monitor and report on market trends, competitive activities, and growth opportunities within the territory.
- Support for Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) : During peak periods, assist ISRs with back-office tasks, including tender management and related inquiries.
- Additional Responsibilities : May be requested to undertake tasks outside of standard duties to support team goals.
Education
Minimum MSc or PhD in Cell, Molecular Biology, or related life science discipline.Experience
Some sales experience is preferred.Familiarity with virtual sales tools, including MS Teams and Zoom.Minimum of 2 years’ lab experience in Cell or Molecular Biology or related areas.Strong communication skills with proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce.Other Requirements
