Job Title : Nursery / Early Years Teaching Assistant – Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified

Location : Sheffield S5 (and surrounding areas)

Salary : £500 – £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

Start Date : Immediate

Contract Type : Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

These roles are ideal for individuals with a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualification , who are passionate about supporting children at the very start of their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities as an Early Years TA :

• Support the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning activities.
• Provide 1 : 1 and small group support to children, helping to develop their language, social, and motor skills.
• Create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in line with the EYFS framework.
• Safeguard and supervise children, both in the classroom and during playtimes.
• Assist with preparing learning resources and setting up engaging activities.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the nursery / early years classroom.
