Job descriptionExperience working in a manufacturing environment with a safety-first culture is essential At least a year of leadership experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role or similar Experience of working in a high production environment, primarily in the automotive, food or FMCG related industries Good exposure to health & safety standards, continuous improvement methods and environmental best practice IT skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook Strong organisational & planning abilities Annual salary of £37,643 (or £46,842 if you hold relevant engineering qualifications) paid weekly including allowances Training and opportunities to grow your career with us Company Pension SIP ability to become a shareholder via our Share Scheme Life Assurance Flexible benefits offering (including health, wellbeing and money saving opportunities)

We will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to enable you to safely and effectively work as a Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a small team through a practical and hands-on approach
- Set priorities to maximise production efficiency and promote working practices that develop a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and open communication
- Identify and suggest improvements to the manufacturing and quality process to ensure agreed cost efficient production schedules
- Assist with the installation of new plant equipment
- Promote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve efficiencies
- Carry out factory inspections, giving advice and support to production operatives and other personnel
- Monitor quality from raw material to finished goods
- Ensure all new starters are efficiently inducted and trained
Hours of Work : 7.00am till 5.00pm, Monday - Friday (flexibility is required)
