Description of Job

St Mary’s Longfleet, Poole (SML) is a large, vibrant, multi-generational church on the South Coast. We have a strong emphasis on ministry in Word and Spirit, and worship plays a vitally important role in our life together. We are looking to appoint an inspiring Worship Pastor, with strong team building skills, to join the staff team and pursue a commitment to our vision ‘To grow adventurous disciples who take joy in making Jesus known in our communities and beyond’.

Worship Pastor profile

• an accomplished singer and musician , with a wide knowledge of contemporary worship.
• able to lead worship with an instrument (normally guitar / keyboard) as well as voice, and work with different instrumentalists and vocalists.
• experienced in leading contemporary charismatic, Holy Spirit-inspired corporate worship , including leading people into an experience of the Holy Spirit.
