As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be an integral part of a dynamic corporate law team, supporting clients in a wide range of business and commercial matters. Duties & Responsibilities
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be responsible for :
- Managing and assisting a varied caseload and providing high-quality legal advice to clients in collaboration with senior solicitors / lawyers.
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Attend court hearings and client meetings.
- Assist with due diligence, structuring of transactions, and preparing legal documentation for mergers, acquisitions, financings, and restructurings.
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand your caseload and the firm’s corporate practice.
- Keep abreast of changes in corporate law and regulations and ensure that all processes adhere to current best practices and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to corporate transactions and client interactions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by your line manager or Director.
Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge
A valid practicing certificate.Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office.Ability to manage multiple cases and clients simultaneously.Strong business acumen and understanding of the corporate environment.Ability to work in a fast paced, client focused environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.Demonstrated ability to network effectively to develop and expand the department.
