About the Role
Oxford University Press (‘the Press’) is a department of the University of Oxford and the world’s largest university press. Guided by the University’s mission of excellence in research, scholarship, and education, the Press publishes thousands of titles annually across academic, educational, and general interest sectors. With a global footprint reaching researchers, educators, and learners in around 200 countries and regions, the Press plays a pivotal role in shaping knowledge and learning worldwide.
Under the direction of the Group Compliance Officer, the Senior Compliance Manager plays a key role in delivering the Press’s Global Compliance Programme (‘Programme’) across the Press’s Divisions and Group Functions. This position is critical in ensuring that core ethical compliance risks - principally Bribery and Corruption, Fraud, and the Facilitation of Tax Evasion - are identified, effectively managed, and proportionately addressed. The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for embedding the Programme’s requirements, cultivating a strong culture of integrity, and maintaining robust and sustainable compliance controls.
