Job descriptionExperience in a similar role with a good understanding of building services including, heating, hot and cold–water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution, plumbing, gardening, painting and decorating A professional, who understands the importance of maintaining high standards – working to statutory requirements and compliance to ensure our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable environment A friendly and approachable team player with the ability to troubleshoot when necessary Hold a full, clear UK Driving Licence You will be a compassionate, empathetic, kind, and caring individual Proactive and compliance driven. Strong attention to detail with a safety–first mindset. Able to balance hands–on maintenance with regulatory management. Salary : GBP36,800.00pa (40hrs per week)
Responsibilities
The Head of Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the care home environment is safe, well–maintained / presented, and compliant with all relevant health, safety, and statutory requirements. This role will have a particular focus on the following areas :
- Regulatory Compliance
- Health & Safety
- Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Fire Safety
- Daily Maintenance
- Contractor & Budget Management
