Job Title : Project Engineering Manager (outside IR35)

Location : Aberdeen

Duration of Assignment : 12 months

Project Scope : The Project Engineering Manager will be responsible for delivering a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project for our client, ensuring seamless coordination between all offices involved in the project.

Key Responsibilities :

Stakeholder Management :

Manage external stakeholders (client-facing) and internal stakeholders (lead disciplines, engineering centers).Oversee project controls, procurement, and third-party contractors or suppliers.

Project Execution :

Perform duties with minimal supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets.Handle change management processes as required.Ensure design consistency across multi-discipline engineering design activities.Provide necessary input and support for project progress and reporting.

Project Phases :

Collaborate with the Project Manager to deliver the project from Pre-FEED, FEED, to detailed design.Work on Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, or EPC projects as required.

Client and Specification Compliance :

Ensure compatibility and conformance with client specifications.Recommend cost-effective improvements to equipment selection / specifications within the scope of client requirements.

Design Review and Approval :

Participate in and potentially lead multi-discipline Engineering Design Reviews.Provide input and approval for closing out actions.

Strategic Planning :

Assist in strategic procurement planning, including long lead items enquiry.

Reporting and Documentation :

Report to the Project Manager and Line Manager as required.Prepare necessary project documentation, including the Project Execution Plan, Level 3 Schedule, and Document Registers.

Risk and Quality Management :

Maintain the Risk & Opportunity register, Assumptions, and Decisions register.Ensure the quality of all engineering deliverables produced by the business.

Corporate Reporting Line :

• Report to the respective Departmental / Group Manager.
