Job Description

We are recruiting Ad Hoc Gritting Operatives to support winter gritting operations on a weather-dependent basis. This role involves night work and requires operatives to be on standby when weather conditions trigger gritting requirements.

This position is ideal for candidates seeking additional income alongside other work.

Hours & Pay

• Work carried out between 6 : 00pm and 7 : 00am
• Routes typically take 4–6 hours (may take up to 7 hours)
• Minimum paid route : 4 hours
• £120 per completed route
• Each route covers approximately 15 sites
