The Role :

We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Mathematics Teachers to inspire and engage students across different educational settings. Whether in a mainstream secondary school or a specialist SEN provision, your role will be to foster a love for mathematics, build students' confidence, and help them develop the skills needed to succeed academically and in life.

Your responsibilities will include :

Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated mathematics lessons tailored to students' needs and abilities.

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged.

Using innovative teaching strategies to make maths accessible, relevant, and enjoyable for all students.

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to aid development.

Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Managing classroom behavior effectively, setting clear expectations, and fostering a respectful learning space.

Supporting students with additional learning needs, including those with EHCPs in SEN schools, by adapting teaching methods and materials appropriately.

Encouraging resilience, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students to help them overcome learning barriers.

Supportive and empathetic – understanding the individual needs of students and providing guidance to help them succeed.

A strong communicator – capable of engaging with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.

Adaptable and resourceful – able to adjust your teaching style to different learning abilities and school environments.

Experienced in working with diverse student needs – experience in SEN settings is desirable but not essential.

Committed to student progress – ensuring that all learners, regardless of background or ability, achieve their potential.

A role model – demonstrating professionalism, patience, and resilience in all aspects of the role.

Requirements :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level (KS3-KS4, with KS5 desirable).

A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Right to work in the UK.

Why Join Us?

Multiple opportunities in both mainstream and SEN settings, allowing you to find the best fit for your skills and experience.

Supportive school environments that value professional development and career progression.

Opportunities to make a meaningful impact on students who require extra support and guidance.

Competitive salary and benefits, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
