About the Role
Our client, a successful and ambitious secondary school in West Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a high-achieving mathematics department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 if applicable.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that enables all students to reach their full potential.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions where necessary.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development, ensuring lessons are aligned with national standards and school objectives.
- Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and foster a positive and respectful classroom culture.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay updated with educational developments.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student learning and progress.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and wider school initiatives as required.
