We are looking for a Electrician to join our building services team at Walsall Manor Hospital.
Working as an Electrician you will undertake the full range of electrical engineering maintenance activities, observing all relevant safety standards and procedures, to ensure a safe working environment for all patients, visitors and staff, including activities, which may be complex and / or non-routine.
Y ou’ll :
- Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Works Controller.
- To action planned maintenance schedules under the instruction of the Electrical Supervisor.
- Undertake planned maintenance works at the request of the Electrical Supervisor.
- Assist other colleagues / contractors where other skills are involved.
- Undertake any safety checks and tests on completion of maintenance tasks and document accordingly
- To liaise with the Electrical Supervisor regarding plant or equipment failures and to request the supply of materials, spares and / or services as necessary. This may involve direct liaison with suppliers or contractors and collecting materials from suppliers premises.
