Job Title : SEN Teacher
Location : Tameside, OL6
Start Date : ASAP
Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate : £135 to £195 per day (DOE)
Contract Type : Temp to Perm, Full-time
Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a wonderful SEN / SEMH secondary school in the OL6 area of Tameside. The role is to start as soon as possible, with the potential to become a permanent position once on contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that truly values its students and staff and provides a supportive and nurturing environment for both.
As a SEN Teacher , you will be teaching a variety of subjects, tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other learning challenges. The school has a fantastic team of educators and support staff, all working together to ensure that each pupil thrives in an environment suited to their needs.
Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teacher :
- Teach a variety of subjects to secondary-aged pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other learning needs.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils.
- Provide in-class support and one-to-one interventions where necessary.
- Work closely with the SENCO and other teaching staff to implement individualised learning plans.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement, confidence, and academic progress.
- Manage behaviour positively and create a calm, supportive classroom atmosphere.
