Graduate General Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools in Tameside
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to inspire young minds? If so, we want to hear from you!
About the Role :
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate General Cover Supervisors to join our team and work in secondary schools across Tameside. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education when teachers are absent. You'll be responsible for supervising students during lessons, ensuring they stay on track with their work, and helping to create a positive and productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise students in the absence of their regular classroom teacher
- Ensure students follow the work set by the teacher and manage the classroom effectively
- Support students with their learning and ensure a positive classroom atmosphere
- Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff
- Promote positive behavior and help to resolve any conflicts or disruptions
- Maintain accurate records of work and student progress when required
