An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic SENDCo and KS1 Class Teacher to join a friendly and hard-working school team. This dual-role position offers the chance to lead SEND provision across the school while teaching a mixed Year 1 / 2 class.
The school is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. This role is essential in ensuring high expectations and exceptional SEND provision, guiding pupils in both academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
As SENDCo, you will :
- Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school, ensuring outstanding support for pupils with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with school leaders to monitor, evaluate, and enhance SEND policies and practices.
- Ensure all SEND pupils achieve their academic and personal potential, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination or be willing to work towards it.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
