Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent position working a 36.5 hour week, Monday - Friday 08 : 00 - 16 : 30. This role is home-based within the UK but we would consider overseas applicants. We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and innovative Scientist. This is a new and exciting opportunity based at our client's facility, a world-class Pharmaceutical company based in Macclesfield. We have an opportunity for an experienced Analytical Scientist with experience of drug product analytical development in the pharmaceutical industry.

• The role will involve being the responsible point of contact for a major commercial product or group of products related to the analytical testing subject matter area.
• Using your expertise in Analytical Chemistry you will support the clients manufacturing sites and CMOs to ensure performance, robustness, and compliance of OSD products and related analytical methods.
• You will support major changes and market access projects in collaboration with multiple functions (External Sourcing and Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing).
• Transfer of commercial analytical methods to multiple locations and may involve international travel as part of the role.
• Potential support in practical analytical activities.
