Job Title : CNC Turner Programmer 2,3 axis - Fanuc - Haas

Salary : £40k - £45k

Overtime Widely Available all at x1.5 x2

Shift : Days 7 : 45 - 4 : 30pm

Designing, manufacturing, and building precision components for the defence sector, our client are leaders in their industry. Backed by a global organization, we are now seeking new and experienced CNC Turner / Millers to join the business.

Job description

The role of CNC Turning, setter operator will include the following duties :

Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Fanuc Control

Load tooling with correct offsets

Upload Programs

Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards

The ideal candidate will :

Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning machines using Fanuc, Haas or Mazatrol controls

Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Ideally having an engineering apprenticeship, however, experience is the overriding factor.

Overtime / additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.

Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.

Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.

Professional and self-motivated attitude.

Good organisational & time management skills.
