Job description

Love technology? Enjoy solving problems? Thrive on being out with customers?

Join ICE, the UK's largest independent provider of cleaning equipment, and help shape the future of intelligent cleaning technology.

With over 50 years of industry leadership, we're experts in cleaning equipment and pioneers in robotic cleaning solutions. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Solutions Deployment Specialist to install, configure, optimise and support cutting-edge cleaning technology at customer sites.

This is a remote, field-based role where you'll travel to customer sites within your local region, with occasional travel further afield when required. You'll be provided with a fully equipped company van, giving you everything you need to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

If you're technically minded, customer-focused and enjoy getting hands-on with innovative equipment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

As our Solutions Deployment Specialist, you'll be the face of ICE during customer installations, ensuring every deployment is smooth, successful and delivers real value.

You'll:

  • Install, configure and commission advanced cleaning equipment and robotic solutions
  • Deliver on-site equipment trials, demonstrations and customer handovers
  • Train operators, supervisors and management teams to use equipment safely and effectively
  • Create site maps and optimise machine routes for maximum efficiency
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues
  • Provide first and second-line technical support on customer sites
  • Analyse machine performance and recommend improvements
  • Carry out routine machine inspections and maintenance checks
  • Support proof-of-concept projects with ATP and gloss meter testing
  • Work closely with manufacturers and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues

Why join ICE?

At ICE, innovation drives everything we do. Alongside supplying and servicing market-leading cleaning equipment, we've spent over a decade developing robotic cleaning solutions that help organisations become more efficient and sustainable.

We're passionate about investing in our people through ongoing training, professional development and genuine career progression opportunities. If you enjoy working independently, meeting new people and making technology work for customers, you'll fit right in.

Requirements

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with outstanding customer service.

You'll ideally have:

  • A qualification (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or a related discipline
  • Strong hands-on technical skills and confidence working with equipment
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Good physical fitness for installations and equipment handling
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)

Benefits

What you'll get

  • Competitive salary
  • Company van provided
  • Remote, field-based role with customer sites primarily within your local area
  • Ongoing technical training and development
  • Career progression opportunities within a growing business
  • The chance to work with market-leading robotic and autonomous cleaning technology
  • Supportive team culture built on innovation and customer success

Ready to deploy the future of cleaning technology?

Apply today and become part of a business that's leading the way in innovation, sustainability and customer service.
