DESCRIPTION
We are looking for experienced Flexible Manufacturing Worker Machinist to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Operations Support in Huddersfield, United Kingdom .
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, working 35 hours per week Monday Friday across 2 shift patterns.
Days - 7 : 30am - 3pm Monday-Friday
Nights - Monday - Thursday 10 : 15pm - 7 : 30am
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.
Achieves production goals.
Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following :
Engineering apprenticeship or 5 years experience CNC machining in an engineering environment.
Manufacturing Knowledge (preferred).
Ability to set and program (beneficial).
CNC Turning / Milling Experience (essential).
CAD / CAM programming (beneficial).
Attention to detail.
Minimal supervision.
Be able to support shift working.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. College or equivalent degree preferred.
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience in customer order management, account management or in the supply chain field.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
