Teaching Assistant Opportunities – Wigan

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for full-time positions across Wigan, with immediate starts available.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom, particularly by supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Whether you have previous experience or are looking to build a rewarding career in education, you'll play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Support students' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
  • Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and achievements.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

We're Looking For Individuals Who:

  • Have a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
  • Are patient, empathetic, and resilient in their approach.
  • Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Are proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Live in, or can reliably commute to, Wigan and the surrounding areas.
  • Have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN (desirable but not essential).

What We Offer

  • Competitive daily pay starting from £95 per day, dependent on experience.
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
  • Flexible working opportunities to suit your availability and lifestyle.
  • The chance to gain valuable experience within supportive and inclusive school environments.
  • Continued support and guidance from the Teaching Personnel team throughout your placement.

Why Apply?

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the education sector. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll develop your skills, build confidence in the classroom, and have a positive impact on students' educational journeys.
