Job description
Are you a kind, caring and reliable Female Support Worker with a full UK driving licence looking for a rewarding role where no two days are quite the same?
We are looking for a dedicated female support worker to join a friendly and consistent 2:1 care team supporting a wonderful lady who lives independently in a two-bedroom annexe at her parents’ home in St Austell.
About the client:
Our client is a full-time wheelchair user who requires hoisting for all transfers and support with all aspects of her daily care needs.
She is a very happy, smiley lady with a wonderful personality. She loves music—especially boybands like Boyzone—and enjoys attending concerts whenever possible. She has a busy and active weekly routine, regularly attending art and music clubs as well as hydrotherapy sessions. She thrives on social interaction and enjoys getting out and about.
Available shifts:
- Day shifts 08:00 – 20:00 - Monday-Sunday
- Thursdays 11am – 6pm
- Day/Sleep – 08:00am – 08:00am
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

- Caring, compassionate and patient
- Reliable and committed to providing high-quality support
- Comfortable supporting with personal care and complex care needs
- Confident working as part of a 2:1 support team
- Comfortable using a hoist, or willing to undertake the necessary training
- Friendly and sociable, with a genuine interest in supporting someone to enjoy their hobbies and interests
- Comfortable supporting someone in their own home and out in the community
- A female driver with a full UK driving licence
What you'll have:
