SEN Teaching Assistant- Start January 2025

Location :  Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire

Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday

Roles and responsibilities :

  • Provide one to one or small group support tailored to the needs of SEN pupils
  • Assist with developing and implementing individualised learning plans
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support student learning.
  • Monitor and record student progress, communicating effectively with staff and parents.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage with the school community, promoting its ethos and fostering strong relationships with children, staff, and families.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of safeguarding practices.
  • Requirements :

    Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is preferred.

    Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are advantageous but not essential.
