SEN Teaching Assistant- Start January 2025

Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday

Roles and responsibilities :

Provide one to one or small group support tailored to the needs of SEN pupils

Assist with developing and implementing individualised learning plans

Deliver targeted interventions to support student learning.

Monitor and record student progress, communicating effectively with staff and parents.

Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Adapt quickly to different school settings and build rapport with students and colleagues.

Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Engage with the school community, promoting its ethos and fostering strong relationships with children, staff, and families.

Maintain an excellent understanding of safeguarding practices.

Requirements :

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is preferred.

Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are advantageous but not essential.
