Site Engineer – Civil Engineering ContractorLocation : Various sites across ScotlandReference : J44357A privately-owned, multi-sector principal contractor is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join their expanding civil engineering team on a permanent basis. Following a series of recent project wins across Scotland, the company is growing to meet increased demand and deliver a diverse pipeline of work.Our client has built a strong reputation within the civil engineering sector both in Scotland and across the wider UK. Their portfolio includes a wide range of projects such as infrastructure, renewables, land remediation, landscaping, drainage, culverts, residential developments, and framework agreements. Known for delivering some of the UK’s most recognisable and technically complex projects, they continue to gain recognition for their quality and expertise.This position would suit someone with a strong site engineering background, ideally with hands-on experience in the successful delivery of civil engineering projects.Key Responsibilities : Setting out for construction activities in line with project drawings and specificationsEnsuring strict adherence to Health and Safety procedures on-siteCoordinating and supervising site operatives and subcontractorsMaintaining and managing Quality Assurance documentation and recordsReviewing plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibilityProviding support to the Project Manager and Site Agent as neededLiaising with internal teams, external stakeholders, and the clientRequired Skills and Experience : Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementProven site-based engineering experience, preferably with a principal or specialist contractorStrong setting out experience on groundworks and infrastructure projectsValid CSCS cardFull UK driving licenceFlexibility to travel to sites across ScotlandWhat’s on Offer : A competitive salary commensurate with experienceAttractive benefits packageOpportunity to join a reputable and expanding contractor with a strong pipeline of secured workIf you believe this is the right opportunity for you and are interested in learning more, please apply with your most recent CV.
