Overview

Park Holidays UK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. In this role, you will oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of holiday homes and communal areas, manage laundry duties, and ensure that all housekeeping operations meet our high standards. You will also provide support and guidance to the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Provide training and support to team members as needed.
  • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of holiday homes and communal areas, ensuring they meet the organisation's cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Manage laundry tasks, including the washing, drying, and ironing of linen and towels. Ensure that laundry processes are carried out efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning and laundry supplies. Report any shortages or issues to management and arrange for timely replenishment.
  • Ensure that all cleaning products and equipment are used and stored safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Conduct regular checks to maintain compliance.
  • Work closely with other housekeeping and cleaning staff to prioritise tasks and ensure all duties are completed on time. Facilitate effective communication and teamwork within the department.
  • Address any guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of holiday homes and communal areas to ensure that cleanliness and maintenance standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role, with supervisory or team leader experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team and interact effectively with guests.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and laundry duties.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning and laundry practices.
  • Willingness to work on the specified days (Monday and Friday) and adapt to varying tasks as needed.
