Job description

The Medinet Group is a leading independent healthcare provider delivering high-quality clinical services across the UK and Ireland, comprising Acute Services (Medinet), Outpatient Specialist Services (HealthHarmonie), and Mental Health and Wellbeing Services (HH Minds).

With over 20 years' experience, partnerships with more than 100 NHS Trusts, and more than 2 million patients treated, we've built a strong reputation for clinical excellence and operational delivery.

As we continue to grow, we are scaling our clinical workforce and strengthening our operations to deliver services efficiently and at pace.

Your day in the life of a Healthcare Assistant:

As a Gynaecology Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will play a vital role in supporting our dermatology services and ensuring a high-quality patient experience across our clinics.

You will be responsible for accurately capturing high-quality images of skin lesions and securely uploading them to our Tele Dermatology platform to support clinical assessment and diagnosis. You will work closely with clinicians and administrative teams, ensuring all patient records and data are handled accurately and efficiently.

In addition, you will enhance the patient journey by delivering a welcoming and professional experience, carrying out GDPR and relevant health and safety checks, and supporting the smooth running of clinic operations. You will assist with appointment coordination and ensure all clinical areas meet strict infection control standards to provide a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Your contribution will be essential in delivering an efficient, compassionate, and patient-focused Gynaecology service.

Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 - 17:30/18:00.

Our clinics are based nationwide and include Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw.

This is a mobile role and you will be expected to travel to any of these site locations.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE a driving licence and access to your own vehicle to travel between clinic sites
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when capturing and handling patient data
  • Confident using IT systems and digital platforms
  • Previous healthcare or administrative experience is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and taking pride in your work

You will be enrolled on our comprehensive training programme from day one, which will equip you with the knowledge and technical skills required for the role.

The Role Details

  • Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (including travel time)
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday (5 days per week)

What We Offer

  • Starting salary: £27,144
  • Opportunity to increase salary up to £28,641 upon completion of additional competencies
  • Travel allowance: 55p per mile
  • Ongoing support and training with opportunities to progress to NVQ Level 3
  • Excellent career progression opportunities
  • Quarterly bonus of 1.25% of annual salary
  • 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • NHS employee discounts

By joining the HealthHarmonie family, you will be part of the essential infrastructure that delivers outstanding patient care across the UK. Whether in a clinical or administrative capacity, your role will be vital. We value innovation, a willingness to learn, and individuals who take ownership of their professional development.

Equal Opportunity Employer

HealthHarmonie is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
