Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Hospitality Assistant to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional guest experiences whilst supporting our hospitality operations. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure our establishment runs smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism at all times.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with warmth and efficiency - Assist with reception duties, including welcoming guests, managing enquiries, and providing information about facilities and services
  • Support the team in maintaining clean, organised, and welcoming communal areas - Handle guest requests and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary - Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless operations and positive guest experiences - Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and record-keeping with meticulous attention to detail
  • Respond flexibly to changing priorities and guest requirements throughout your shift - Take initiative in identifying opportunities to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction - Maintain compliance with health, safety, and organisational policies at all times - Support induction and training activities for new team members where appropriate.


Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year's experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues - Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service - Proven Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining composure

  • Demonstrated team player mentality with a collaborative approach to problem-solving - Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude - Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and guest needs **Desirable Qualifications:**
  • Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or leisure establishment - Knowledge of hospitality management systems or booking software - Multilingual abilities - Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications - Experience in guest relations or front-of-house operations - Proactive approach to personal development and career progression within hospitality
