The Role

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable guest experience across our restaurants, bars and events spaces.

You’ll be part of a motivated team, providing friendly, professional service while creating a welcoming and relaxed environment for our guests. You will also support the team in maintaining high standards and contributing to a positive, commercially successful department.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing outstanding service across restaurant, bar and room service areas
  • Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional experience
  • Preparing service stations and assisting with mise-en-place before service
  • Taking orders and serving food and drinks efficiently and professionally
  • Supporting events including meetings, weddings and afternoon teas
  • Maintaining excellent product knowledge, including menus and nutritional information
  • Keeping service areas clean, organised and presentable at all times
  • Handling guest feedback and escalating when required
  • Working closely with the kitchen and wider teams to ensure smooth service
  • Supporting upselling opportunities by promoting Champneys experiences and facilities
