Manufacturing Operative – Chemical Industry

Location : Manchester

Pay Rate : £12.08 per hour

Contract : Temp to Perm

Hours : Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join a well-known chemical manufacturer in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a temporary-to-permanent position with a reputable company that offers career progression and stability.

Key Responsibilities :

Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Handling raw materials and chemicals in accordance with safety regulations.
Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
Following strict health & safety procedures, including PPE use.
Carrying out basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Keeping work areas clean and organised.
Completing relevant production records and paperwork.

What We’re Looking For :

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (chemical industry experience is an advantage).

Ability to follow strict health & safety guidelines.

Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
