ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants or support workers who can support children in a SEN school in Poulton-le-Fylde.

You will be supporting children aged 5 -16 years old with varying needs from complex needs and non-verbal to moderate learning difficulties and autism. Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1 : 1 basis or within small groups.

The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

  • Minimum rate of pay – GBP95 per day
  • Hours – 8 : 30 am – : Mon – Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a similar setting
  • LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant / or equivalent and above is preferable
  • GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
  • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
