Are you a recent school leaver looking to kickstart your career working with a fun and fast-paced business?
We are looking for five talented and enthusiastic individuals to become the future of LendInvest Mortgages. Our early careers programme is an 18-month, fully-paid rotational programme with our specialist mortgage teams in our central Glasgow office.
About Us
LendInvest is the UK’s leading FinTech platform for property finance. Over the past 17 years we have grown from just our two founders to a team of over 200 working to make property finance simple for everyone.
We're all about helping young people like you find their path, especially when it comes to kicking off an exciting career. After a very successful first year, with all interns securing permanent positions, we will be rolling out our second early careers programme . It’s our way of opening doors for those who are eager to dive into the mortgage industry but might not know where to start.
This programme is packed with everything you need to get ahead : skills training, real-world knowledge, and the chance to work on projects that matter. We believe that by supporting you now, we're helping shape the future of property finance – and we can’t wait to see the awesome contributions you’re going to make. It’s more than just a job; it’s a chance to make a real impact, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
About the role
During the programme you will get the amazing opportunity to spend time with our operations teams, our underwriting teams, our sales team, risk & compliance and our product and marketing teams. You will gain experience across our core property finance products : buy-to-let mortgages, residential mortgages and bridging finance.
You will work through the mortgage life-cycle throughout your rotations , all the way from how we design and market our products, through to front line support for our brokers & customers, helping with enquiries on the phone, email and web-chat; liaising with solicitors and carrying out searches. You will be exposed to viewing specialist reports and making commercial risk-based lending decisions.
You will gain a Level 3 qualification as a Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance with the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF) with dedicated time to study towards this. You will also receive a full structured training plan throughout the programme.
To be successful with your application, you must be available on either 3rd or 4th June 2025 to attend an Assessment Centre at our Glasgow office (8th Floor The Onyx, 215 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7EZ)
To apply for the role, no prior experience is needed however, we are looking for individuals who are :
