This is a permanent post with part time hours; these hours will be worked over 2 days Mon-Fri 9-5pm, this will be on a rostered basis but specific days can be considered.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
This is a key role within a Community Adult Mental Health Team. As a Community Psychiatric Charge Nurse you will have a key role in the delivery of care and development of the service with clinical and management responsibilities. You will have effective communication and assessment skills to develop person centred care plans in conjunction with MDT. This will allow you to deliver evidence based care and treatment and support to adults with mental health difficulties residing within South Glasgow. Within your clinical responsibilities of your patient caseload, you will also be responsible for administration of medication in both clinic settings and patient’s home environments and providing support to duty service which is covered by staff on a rota basis.
You will demonstrate positive leadership skills to support the Nurse Team Leader with involving change in mental health services. You will be required to be able to work independently and as part of the MDT. You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration with evidence of professional development, effective clinical and leadership skills.
