Contracts Manager / Building Surveyor Opportunity – South England
Your new company
You will work for a large housing provider who believes that everybody has the right to a warm, safe, high-quality, and sustainable home. This means that your new employer is investing over £600m into existing home improvements over the next 10 years – ensuring homes are safe and efficient. As an experienced contract management professional, you will work regionally across a tight geographic patch.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the specification, procurement, management, and delivery of a variety of externally-led contracts as part of a wider planned programme of works.
- Specify, produce, and manage programmes of work for cyclical compliance requirements.
- Ensure that work packages are comprehensive in terms of scope, specification, and quality standards.
- Ensure that all work is procured and undertaken in accordance with CDM and all other health & safety requirements.
- Maintain strict financial control of budget lines applicable to your role.
- Carry out inspections to ensure that all works are delivered in accordance with agreed specification and quality standards.
