Job Title : Press Brake Operative / Setter – Temp to Perm Location : Blackburn Salary : £14 Per hour PAYE | £17.86 Per hour Umbrella Ltd Hours : 39 Hours per week Are you an experienced Press Brake Operative / Setter looking for a new opportunity with long-term potential? Service Care Solutions are working with a client who are currently seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis. About the company : A provider of a range of vehicle services to customers and manufacturer of a number of high quality commercial vehicle builds and tipper bodies. Key Responsibilities : Set up programming and operate press brake machinery in accordance with production specifications.Interpret and work from engineering drawings and work instructions.Perform quality checks to ensure components meet the required standards.Load and unload material onto machinesAdjust machine settings as needed for material type, thickness, and desired bend.Ensure guillotine cuts the material correctly.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Requirements : Proven experience operating and setting press brake machinery (e.g. Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, etc.).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Flexibility to work different shifts if required.A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
