Job description

Electrician required for our client who is a nationwide electrical contracting company that operates across commercial and industrial sectors, with expertise in automotive repair, retail, hospitality, and healthcare industries. Currently, we're seeking a skilled Test & Inspection Engineer to become part of an expanding team.

As a Test & Inspection Engineer, you'll undertake diverse electrical maintenance, installation, and testing tasks, encompassing both small-scale and larger projects. Your responsibilities may range from individual assignments to collaborative team efforts. For the right candidate, this role offers significant potential for advancement within the company, including the opportunity to qualify as a Supervisor (QS) under our esteemed NICEIC Approved Contractor Accreditation.

Candidates must be able to travel and work nationwide when needed. Current sites are in areas such as Glasgow, Watford and Newcastle.

  • 50-55k per annum (negotiable, based on experience)

Electrician Position Requirements

  • BS 7671 : 18th Edition Qualification (or equivalent qualification)
  • BS 2391-52 : Inspection & Testing (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Up to date Gold ECS card
  • Knowledge of (and adherence to) health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work away from home, throughout the UK.

    • Electrician Position Remuneration

  • 50-55k per annum (negotiable, based on experience)
  • Overtime opportunities at time and a half (weekends)
  • Bonus for working away from home (overnight)
