About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager with a CQC Registered Manager background to oversee the operational delivery and regulatory compliance of a portfolio of supported living services and residential care homes . You will lead, coach, and support a team of Service Managers to deliver person-centered, high-quality care and support in line with CQC standards, organizational values, and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple services, ensuring excellent care quality, compliance, and service user satisfaction.
- Line-manage and support Service Managers, promoting leadership, accountability, and high performance.
- Ensure all services meet or exceed CQC regulatory standards , preparing for inspections and leading improvement plans where needed.
- Monitor and analyze performance, occupancy, safeguarding, incident reports, audits, and action plans across the region.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, commissioners, local authorities, and families to maintain effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery and care practices.
- Take lead on recruitment, induction, and professional development of Service Managers and senior staff.
- Manage regional budgets, resources, and business plans, ensuring financial sustainability and value for money.
- Support the opening of new services, ensuring timely registration and safe mobilization.
Requirements
Essential :
Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager in supported living or residential care settings.Demonstrable leadership experience managing multiple services or managing managers.In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations , safeguarding , mental capacity , and health & safety legislation .Strong ability to coach, lead, and motivate service managers and frontline teams.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.Desirable :
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).Experience managing services for people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or autism.Experience in business development or service commissioning.
