Location : M23, Wythenshawe

Start Date : ASAP (definitely by Easter)

Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)

Salary : £102-£111 per day

Reeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in M23, Wythenshawe , supporting pupils aged 11 to 16 with a range of needs, including ADHD, SEMH, ASD, behavioural challenges, and other learning difficulties . This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term , and perfect for someone who is dynamic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people .

This specialist SEN school provides a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment for pupils who require additional support with emotional regulation, behaviour, and learning . As a Teaching Assistant , you'll be part of a dedicated team , working in small classes to help students develop both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant :

• Provide classroom support as a Teaching Assistant for pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, and behavioural needs.
• Work 1 : 1 and in small groups to help pupils engage with learning and develop confidence.
• Assist with behaviour management , emotional regulation, and daily learning activities.
• Adapt learning materials to meet the diverse needs of pupils in an SEMH setting.
• Support pupils with social skills, resilience, and positive behaviour strategies .
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to ensure each pupil receives the support they need.
