At Sennen Education we are working with a welcoming primary school in Manchester, who are seeking a committed and creative Learning Support Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary-aged children and is confident to conduct planned small-group intervention sessions to support children’s learning. As a Learning Support Assistant you should :
- Have good time management and know how to multitask
- Be flexible and patient
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Undertake duties as directed by teaching staff or head of departments. To join us and be successful in this Learning Support Assistant role, you will need :
- A minimum of three months experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Provide a CV with up to date employment / education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
