Financial Controller

We're looking for a full-time Financial Controller to join on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role that will report to and work directly with the Finance Director, and manage the day-to-day financial operation of the business. This role is suited to an experienced Financial Controller who enjoys leading a team, working at senior level, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The Job

Key responsibilities include :

• Managing the day-to-day financial operation of the business
• Leading month-end close and preparing all financial reporting, both internal and external
• Treasury management, including daily cash management and maintaining cashflow forecasts
• Contributing to quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting
• Leading the annual audit process
• Ensuring a strong financial control environment and full compliance with accounting and tax requirements
• Managing the monthly payroll processing and reporting
• Line managing existing finance team (1 person) and building out a best-in-class finance function
• Driving improvements and efficiencies in financial controls, systems, and processes
• Building strong relationships across the organisation and collaborating with other departments to help meet the financial objectives of the wider business
• Supporting the Finance Director with strategic projects including international growth, fundraising and acquisitions
• Acting as deputy to the Finance Director at internal and external meetings
