Role : Lead Hazardous Area Electrician

As a Lead Hazardous Area Electrician, you will support electrical projects in Hazardous and Non-Hazardous environments across the UK. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Support Manager, you will be the main on-site contact, ensuring effective communication and project execution. This role requires organization, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to manage site teams and collaborate with stakeholders, always prioritizing safety.

Requirements :

• Approved electrician with an accredited apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (JIB Graded Gold card or above)
• Compex modules EX01-4 or IECEx COPC Modules EX001-8
• C&G 2391 or 2391-52 or 2394 & 2395 Inspection and Testing
• CCSNG / JIB or equivalent Safety passport
• Experience installing IECEx / Atex rated equipment, including motors, control stations, junction boxes, and lighting
• Proficiency in installing Metal Trunking, conduit, tray, SWA cables, and glands, LV distribution equipment
• Understanding of schematic, Loop, P&ID, zone drawings, control systems, and fault finding
• Good IT skills in Microsoft Excel and Office
• Physical ability to perform demanding roles involving heavy lifting
