Job description

BWGM , Joint venture with Binnies , part of the RSK Group are looking for qualified Electricians to work on a full-time and permanent basis across the South East of England, Hampshire / Sussex border.

The overall purpose of the role is to deliver electrical installation works including testing & commissioning activities within the business. As an Electrician, you will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain, repair and install electrical equipment for Clients sites.
  • Swiftly and comprehensively fault-find and rectify problems on a variety of electrical issues.
  • Deliver electrical construction to the standard identified in the electrical skills matrix.
  • Deliver electrical compliance to the standard identified in the electrical skills matrix.
  • Deliver electrical control to the standard identified in the electrical skills matrix.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of current electrical regulations to BS7671.
  • Demonstrate an understanding & construction skill base of current WIMES Specifications.
  • Demonstrate an ability to modify existing LV Switchgear panels as required.
  • Complete & input into the required NICEIC Certification.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications :

  • SVQ Level 3 Electrical.
  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • ECS Card.
  • Water hygiene card.
  • First Aid Trained.
  • Confined Space Trained.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical construction to WIMES Specification.
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience of wastewater industry is desirable.
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential.
