Job Title : Plant Fitter Location : Cumbernauld / Glasgow area Job Type : Full-time Salary : £40,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience) Mobility : Workshop and mobile work Job Summary : We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Plant Fitter to join our team, working across the Cumbernauld and Glasgow area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a variety of construction and landscaping machinery. This includes equipment such as excavators, dumpers, rollers, and other heavy plant. Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine servicing and inspections on a wide range of plant and landscaping machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Conduct both workshop-based and mobile repairs
• Complete job sheets and maintain service records
• Ensure all work is carried out to high standards of safety and efficiency
• Liaise with site teams to respond to breakdowns promptly Requirements :
• Proven experience in a similar plant fitter or mechanic role
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence (preferred for mobile duties)
