Job Description

As a Senior Accountant you will play a key part of the management accounts team through the production of the management accounts for our South American Operations.

You will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and support the management accounts team through the production and analysis of the local Brazilian management accounts.

This role is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a rapidly growing area of the business as we continue our expansion across South America. You will work closely with external stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely completion of the in-territory accounts.

You will support in establishing the production of procedures and best practice, working proactively to ensure robust controls are in place to ensure improved accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, you will work closely with the tax department to ensure compliance due to the intertwined nature of the processes within Brazil.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Companys hybrid working from home policy.

Qualifications

ACCA or CIMA qualified.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Proactive and positive approach to tasks.

Strong problem solving skills.

Additional Information

Working closely with our in country accountants to produce the month end management accounts.

Completing reconciliations with corporate ledgers.

Monitoring overseas advisors requirements and maintain relationships.

Statutory accounts production.

Managing the in-territory year end audit.

Maintaining and developing South American knowledge.
