This is a full time position at 35 hours per week, working shift patterns across Monday to Saturday on a rota basis. We offer hybrid working however, you must be able to travel to our Head Office in Skipton at a minimum of 1 day per week, with flexibility and more presence needed during initial 3 week training period.##

The teams consist of Direct Lending Advisers, Mortgage Relationship Advisers, and Qualified Mortgage Advisers. Together, they work in a collaborative and high-performing environment, closely partnering with key stakeholders to ensure the best possible customer journey.We have a range of other benefits available to you including;

We care about your health and wellbeing – we provide a range of benefits that support this including cycle to work initiative and discounted gym membershipYou will be answering a variety of customer inquiries related to their mortgage application, with your main focus being to guide them through the Decision in Principle (DIP) process, which includes the following :
Through curious questioning, you’ll be finding out what the customer is hoping to achieve and cross-referencing it with the lending policy to ensure that the mortgage application is viable.
You will be verifying the customer's income and expenditure which involves not only checking basic affordability but also understanding any unique circumstances the customer might have that could affect the lending decision.
Completing the credit search is the final step in the process as it gives customers a better idea of how much they may be able to borrow and what to expect from Skipton.
After a successful DIP, you will take ownership of the customer and support them through to the next stage of being booked in with a qualified mortgage adviser.Homes Advice provides a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters both personal growth and career development.
