Job Description

This is a permanent, full time position, working Monday - Friday 09 : 00 - 17 : 00.

As a Stock Controller, you will maintain accurate stock levels by monitoring deliveries, liaising with suppliers and coordinating shipments, while ensuring inventory costs are controlled.

• Complete procurement administration which will include creatingand uploading purchases orders, generating reports and ensuring correct purchasing codes are applied.
• Maintainaccurate records of supply usage and stock trends.
• Place orders for stock, laboratory supplies and equipment as needed.
• Receive and receipt stock accurately, ensuring timely updates in the system.
• Maintain and manage inventory, including stock rotation, expiry dates checks, and monitoring stock levels against security.
• Monitor stock levels and costs to avoid overstocking while maintaining operational availability.
• Liaising with Operations Manager to have accurate information of the lab workflow.
• Work closely with suppliers to monitor deliveries and coordinate any delays.
• Maintain stores to an acceptable standard, ensuring good laboratory practice (GLP) is followed.
• Support the Quality Assurance by assisting with supplier reviews.
• Always adhere to company SOP’s, ISO 15189, and Quality Management System (QMS).
• Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Communicating effectively with internal teams to ensure a smooth flow of work.
