Contract : September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)

Are you an English graduate looking to gain experience in education?

A well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich is seeking an English Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across the Humanities department.

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, youll work with pupils in KS3 to KS5, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. Youll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in English Literature and Language.

Key responsibilities :

Providing in-class support in English Literature and Language

Running 1 : 1 and group interventions for underachieving students

Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking

Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds

This role is ideal for aspiring English teachers or those interested in supporting students in English.

Were looking for :

A 2 : 1 or First-Class degree in English or related field

A genuine interest in education and social development

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Commitment from September 2025 to July 2026
