Job descriptionAbility to read and write in English to understand order sheets, barcodes, and instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and processing orders. Good level of physical fitness as the role may involve standing for long periods and some manual handling. Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude to team working.
We are advertising this role on behalf of our client, a well-established company within the food production industry. They are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Working on a fast-paced food production line, ensuring products are prepared and packed to company standards.
- Collecting and preparing client orders accurately and efficiently.
- Reading and interpreting order sheets, labels, and barcodes to ensure correct products are picked and dispatched.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
- Performing quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Labelling, packing, and palletising goods ready for distribution.
- Following company processes and reporting any issues to supervisors.
