Overview

Transport Team Leader – Milton Keynes – Temporary to Permanent after 12 successful weeks – £16.82 per hour – Tuesday - Saturday – 03 : 30AM-12 : 00PM

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily transport operations and oversee drivers during assigned shifts.
  • Liaise with planners, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Monitor deliveries ensuring schedules are adhered to.
  • Support shunting operations and delivery station activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety (H&S) and transport regulations.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage operational challenges in real time.
  • Familiarity with shunting, dispatch, and warehouse processes.
