At St Helens Hall, nights are a time for calm, comfort, and care. You’ll be part of a team that empowers residents to maintain choice and control over their lives, even after the sun sets. Our experienced Home Manager, Amanda, started as a Care Assistant here in 2008 and now leads a team committed to excellence.
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include :
Completing necessary training and ongoing professional developmentProviding personal care, supporting residents’ nighttime routines, and assisting with individual needsOffering emotional support and companionship during the nightEnsuring residents feel safe, secure, and comfortable throughout the nightMaintaining high care standards and a calm environmentSupervising and supporting the night staff team, including conducting appraisals, maintaining records, liaising with external professionals, and assisting with recruitmentSandstone employees enjoy a range of benefits :

Leadership or supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home settingA warm and caring personality with a passion for supporting othersA Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to work towards one)Confidence in using technology and maintaining accurate recordsResilience and the ability to provide guidance under pressureFlexibility to adapt to the needs of our residents during night shiftsSandstone Care Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer :
