About the role
We are looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team and support the smooth running of our busy restaurant and bar. As a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager , you will play a key role in leading front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of service, and helping deliver memorable guest experiences. This position is ideal for an ambitious hospitality professional ready to take the next step in management.
Key responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day food and beverage operations
Supervise, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to provide outstanding service
Assist with staff scheduling, attendance, and daily briefings
Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste management processes
Manage financial tasks including billing, reporting, and cash handling
Help achieve sales targets and control labour and operational costs
Contribute to audits, compliance, and financial reporting
Assist with the delivery of conferences, catering, and private events, supporting clients from planning through to execution
Skills & experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a senior hotel or restaurant role
Strong knowledge of financial and cost-control processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences with attention to detail
What we offer
Salary from £28,600 per year (£13.75 per hour, paid monthly)
28 days holiday per year (increasing with service to a maximum of 33)
